A figure moved quietly under the cover of night, never straying from the shadows. It clutched a package wrapped in dull brown paper.

Taking a last look at the Castle Of Shining Light, he stepped out into the darkness, chanting old protection charms under his breath. He needed to find the place, the fate of the worlds depended on it.

He hoped Nick would understand his intentions and hoped that Aurora and Arderine would forgive him for leaving their side at this crucial time, but there was something he had to do and it couldn’t wait any longer.
The change in the direction of wind stopped him in his tracks and he fell to his hands and knees, never ceasing his muttering.

His eyes widened and he began to furiously move the sand from the carving.

A stone circle carved into a small disk was buried in the sand.

Standing up, he dropped his shield. The shadows would be able to feel him now. He had only a few seconds.

Materializing his staff, he spent another second grieving for his beloved daughter before violently ramming his weapon into the disk.

When the shadows got there, the field of Recriminations was empty.
