Head to Sonya’s for further TLTs
He felt his spirit wolf materialize beside him as he stood under the bare tree, in quiet contemplation. “The war is over,it is time”, came the rough voice.
He continued to look at his lady love, intertwined with the protruding roots of the tree, cheeks as fresh as the day of her heroic act, the barrier holding tough, even after the enemies were vanquished.
Kneeling down, feeling the tree seeping out the remainder of her life force, he slipped the ring on her finger. The enchantment broken, the goddess of love opened her eyes one last time, regaining consciousness for just long enough to hear the prince’s words,”Be at peace, my love”. Since then, the tree has wept every season, cherries- the colour of her cheeks.

You’ve created your own lovely myth there – how the cherry tree got its fruit. Sweet and romantic and a soft, gentle fairy tale. Lovely stuff
