Here’s mine for the week

Ever since she’d saved him from the gang of bullies at the village pre school, this little wild boy had stuck himself to her side and repeatedly invited her to his home. She had always been under a very strict regime, told to never speak to other boys in case the prince she had been promised to decided to take his wrath out on the village. She pictured a huge castle and wondered how she could ever fit in in such a place. Continue reading “3 Line Tales Week 31 – Home”

A Date With My Vial of Felix Felicis Part II

In Big Chill

Read Part I here

When someone asks you whether you’d like to visit a book cafe or not, don’t say No.

Piyusha told me that it wasn’t in CP (where we were, if you recall), but in Khan Market, I didn’t really know how to get there anyway, she told me we’d have to travel by metro.
By now, I had already travelled a bit with my friends, so I had a metro card!

For those who are wondering why I would be so happy about it, you have clearly never seen the huge queue for tickets. Even though we were there for a month, all of us had Metro cards and I think all of us kept them,as memoirs of our travels.

Here’s mine for the week

“Hey there’s a fair today, I wanna go, but all we have is that piece of junk you call a car”, he heard the voices of the children say. 2 hours later the older teens, refusing to call him a piece of junk, had massaged and cleaned him back to his colour.

Chapter 2 – Two is Better than One

Quoted from this chapter

Read the previous chapters here

Aurora breathed out slowly, her eyes looking around the room curiously.

“We could have used the training room, it has more equipment”

Aurora felt the smirk on his face as if it radiated towards her.

“The equipment I need is in this room, Quesios and I worked on this together”

This put her on high alert instantly. If both Nick and Quesios had designed a room for her training, it was bound to have numerous layers of obstacles. She looked at the man who had been circling her like a vulture, keeping his distance.

He likes to knit and sew, how weird!“, came the voices from all around him. He quietly kept making the scarf that he had started, ignoring them as he always did.Until he heard sounds of books and pens crashing to the ground, a girl in a track suit standing in front of his desk, glaring at the ones picking on him.  Continue reading “3 Line Tales Week 29 – Cookie”

A date with my vial of *Felix Felicis – Part I

*liquid luck potion in the Harry Potter universe

And so we move to Delhi Diaries Number 2!

Also, this post was getting very long so I split it into two😅

One of the biggest firsts of my life was meeting an online friend. It was a rainy day in Delhi (which I could only hear because my hotel room had no windows😅) on which I had decided to meet this friend.

Piyusha is more than simply an online friend though. Most humans have water as 75% of their composition, I’m sure Piyusha has encouragement! From encouraging me to write or expand on the Story Continuation Prompts to insisting I publish my story on Readomania, she has been a vial of Felix Felicis. Every one of the stories I wrote on her insistence became top read on my blog. This was the woman I was going to meet!

No matter how far they ran, the metal barrier separating them from the sky remained, mocking them, reminding them of their race’s idiocy. Why had they constructed a cage to protect themselves from attacks. Why had they not realised that their planet would be held hostage?  Continue reading “3 Line Tales Week 28 – ETA 4 Billion Years”

Dan looked from the heavily tattooed, ring-on-each-finger, at-least-twice-his-size man to the adorable, little girl. “You accuse this midget of murder?”, he asked the witness in the box one more time. The witness sighed, “She isn’t what she seems, your honour. You must believe me”. The judge merely shook his head and convicted the tattooed man.
